Under the guidance and patronage of Mr. Win Tint, Vice-President of the Myanmar Chinlone Federation (MCF), the Chinlone Application was officially launched on December 31, 2023. The application was brought to life and is spearheaded by its Founder, Mr. Thaw Tar. Mr. Thaw Tar also serves as the Secretary of Technology and Communications for the Myanmar Chinlone Federation and as the Vice-President of the Yangon Chinlone Sub-Committee (YCSC), bringing a wealth of experience and passion to this initiative.

To Preserve and Globalize a Cultural Heritage: Revitalize the over 2000-year-old tradition of Chinlone across Myanmar and connect it with sports enthusiasts worldwide using modern technology.

To Nurture the Next Generation: Provide structured lessons and training modules for young athletes and hobbyists to learn the art of Chinlone quickly and effectively.

To Achieve UNESCO Recognition: Systematically document Chinlone nationwide, supporting its registration as an Intangible Cultural Heritage with UNESCO.

To Drive Digital Transformation in Sports: Modernize Myanmar’s sports landscape by creating a centralized hub for news, competitions, and educational content.

To Foster International Connectivity: Enable a global audience to study and appreciate Chinlone, elevating the sport to meet international standards.

OFFICIAL ENDORSEMENTS

The Myanmar Sport Chinlone (MSC) Application is the only digital platform officially licensed and recognized by both the Myanmar Chinlone Federation (MCF) and the Yangon Chinlone Sub-Committee (YCSC).

DEVICE COMPATIBILITY & AVAILABILITY

The MSC application is designed for a wide range of devices:

Android Users: Fully compatible with smartphones and tablets running Android version 9.0 (Pie) and above.
iOS Users (Coming Soon). A version for iPhones and iPads is in active development and will be available on the Apple App Store in the near future.

The app will be distributed globally via the Google Play Store, reaching over 200 countries. Future updates will include support for Android TV, allowing users to enjoy content on a larger screen.

    Your dedicated Chinlone news portal. Get official announcements from the MCF, competition updates, and stories about players and teams from all across the country.
  2. Team Chinlone (Winechin)
    This is the heart of the app, dedicated to the traditional team-based style where players collaborate in a circle. It includes five sub-sections:
    • Training Guides: A step-by-step learning path from basic techniques to advanced moves; compete with wearable materials and 35 training videos.
    • Scoring System: Learn the official rules, regulations, and strategic gameplay methods required for formal competitions.
    • Chinlone Poems & Mottos: A digital library of traditional poems, mottos, and literary works related to Chinlone, passed down through generations.
    • Special Performances: Watch high-quality videos of award-winning players performing incredible solo moves, serving as inspiration for the next generations.
    • Challenges: An interactive gamified section. Users are challenged to perform specific tricks, record themselves, and submit the video. Successful attempts are rewarded with badges and prizes, encouraging practice and skill development.
  3. Solo Chinlone (Taptinone)
    Explore the artistic, solo performance style, typically performed by women. Discover training guides and videos for using various props like cane balls, golf balls, metal balls, and performing on tightropes, with fire hoops, or even on bicycles.
  4. Scoring System Competitions
    This section covers the modern competitive team format, with official scoring. It tracks the annual tournament circuit, from township and district levels to regional and the national President’s Cup.
    • Seasonal Competitions: View the full schedule, venues, and participation details for all upcoming tournaments.
    • Live Score Competitions: Follow real-time scores during matches to stay engaged with the action.
    • Live Stream Competitions: Watch major events live, streamed directly through the app.
  5. Referees & Coaches in Myanmar
    A verified directory of referees and coaches officially recognized by the MCF and YCSC. This aims to elevate the status of officials and make it easy for aspiring players to find and connect with qualified trainers.
  6. Sports Equipment
    A practical guide to finding Chinlone sports gear. Search by region, district, or township to find local shops with their contact details, addresses, and integrated Google Map directions.
  7. Chinlone Gymnasiums
    Find places to play. This section provides a comprehensive list of Chinlone gyms and courts across Myanmar; complete with locations, phone numbers, and Google Map links for easy navigation.
  8. National Honors Players
    A hall of fame celebrating Myanmar’s most distinguished Chinlone athletes. Browse profiles of national players filtered by gender and level (Township, District, Regional, National).
  9. Myanmar Sports Courses
    A centralized database for Chinlone training courses offered by the MCF, YCSC, and other official sports bodies. Find details on course types, schedules, locations, and contact information.
